WIP:
- 0.141u2: Guru added dumped key for Ridge Racer V Arcade Battle. Changed description to 'Ridge Racer V Arcade Battle (RRV3 Ver. A)'. Added keys rrv3vera.ic002 (8MB) and rrv3vera_spr.ic002 (512k).
- 14th December 2010: Guru - Ridge Racer V (disc and dongle RRV3 Ver.A) arrived recently. Thanks to Tom from wintery Switzerland. Ridge Racer V (RRV2 Ver.B) complete unit with I/O board. This is the earliest System 246 hardware which is different to the more common S246 unit and uses the same I/O board used on Namco's Super System 23 game 500GP, but with a different PIC16F84. It also requires a drive board or it won't boot up. The board contains a ROM-less MCU and a surface mount ROM and other components to drive the feedback motor. Without the drive board the game just sits waiting for the steering test which never ends. I don't have it but I bought one recently which will arrive soon. I'll also update the documentation in MAME with the details on this hardware.
- 0.140u2: Guru added 'Ridge Racer V Arcade Battle (RRV1 Ver. A)' (Namco 2001).
