Silent Scope 2 et M.A.M.E.
0.86 [Ville Linde]
WIP:
- 0.146u3: Hooked up gun controls. Fixed Silent Scope 2 ROM banking (user3). Added LAN board EEPROM and DS2401 (both not dumped) to Silent Scope 2 [Ville Linde].
- 0.133u3: Changed RF5C400 sound clock speed to 16934400 Hz.
- 0.128u7: Roberto Zandona updated Silent Scope 2 to use newly-dumped roms. Added user3 roms ($0, 400000).
- 0.127u2: Added M48T58Y RTC/NVRAM timekeeper rom.
- 0.123u5: Removed 3rd display.
- 0.123u2: Added 3rd display (512x384).
- 0.114u2: Removed 2nd Player and buttons 2 and 3.
- 0.110u3: Ville Linde added dual-screen support for Silent Scope & Silent Scope 2. Changed visible area to 512x384.
- 0.104u1: Changed visible area to 1024x384.
- 0.102u1: Added RF5C400 stereo sound. Changed region user4 to sound1.
- 0.102: Added 2nd ADSP21062 (36MHz) CPU and dipswitches 'Screen Flip (H)/(V)', 'Harness' and 'Monitor Type'.
- 6th November 2005: Ville Linde - Silent Scope was using the alternate RAM layout of the tilemap chip. I decided to implement this feature, and now the test menu is working and the actual game is showing the copyright screen. The game won't go past that screen for now due to some SHARC-related problems.
- 0.97u1: Added ADSP21062 (36MHz) CPU3. Added dipswitches 'Test Mode', '24/15KHz' and 'DIP2-DIP7'.
- 5th June 2005: Ville Linde - Turns out that Konami Hornet and NWK-TR games require some preformatted data in their backup RAMs (probably as a protective measure). So far I've managed to find the correct values for Gradius 4, Silent Scope, Racing Jam and Racing Jam 2, leaving Silent Scope 2 and Thrill Drive to be done. Silent Scope and Racing Jam start to boot but end up spinning much like Racing Jam 2.
- 0.86: Ville Linde added Silent Scope 2 (Konami 2000) and various other Konami PPC based games: GTI Club, Gradius 4, Silent Scope, Racing Jam, Racing Jam: Chapter 2, Thrill Drive, Midnight Run and Winding Heat. These are to demonstrate the PPC core in action, they contain only very preliminary emulation and do nothing more than display the initial test screens.
