0.88u2 [David Haywood]
WIP:
- 0.141u3: Added dipswitches 'Sound Test', 'Free Bullets' and 4x 'Unused'.
- 0.98u1: Luca Elia fixed Born To Fight - Game now playable. Replaced I8086 CPU1/2 and YM2151 sound with V20 (8MHz) CPU1, I8088 (6144000 Hz) CPU2 and 4x MSM5205 (384000 Hz) sound. Fixed cpu1/2 rom loading. Changed VSync to 54Hz and manufacturer to 'International Games'. Added Trackball control. Fixed dipswitches.
- 10th July 2005: Luca Elia - Pierpaolo suggested I'd take a look at this game running on fantland.c hardware. This is one of the few arcade games ever programmed in Italy, so I was glad to work on it. It's a lightgun game but can optionally be controlled via trackball or joystick. The release date is unknown, but post 1987 (probably early nineties). The driver had to be improved, as this game uses the video hardware in a different way from the other two games there, uncovering some unemulated features. The audio hardware is different too, with an 8088 controlling a sample player attached to four MSM5205 chips.
- 12th November 2004: Pierpaolo Prazzoli - It needs different x,y offsets handling (not yet found) than fantland and galaxygn, needed for background scrolling and enemies sprites.
- 0.88u2: David Haywood added Born To Fight (International Games 19??). GFX emulation problems.
- 29th October 2004: David Haywood - Born to Fight runs but isn't playable... Lots of gfx errors.
- 15th October 2004: Guru - Received Born To Fight. Special thanks to Pierpaolo Prazzoli, f205v and the good boys at the Italian MAME Forum.
