Triple Hunt
Three shooting games in one unit; Hit the Bear, Witch Hunt and Racoon Hunt. The operator can select any one of the three games for his location and change it periodically merely by putting new graphic panels in and adjusting a switch on the P.C. board.
Hit The Bear is a modern video version of the classic bear shooting game. Realistically animated bears walk through a 3-D green forest. When hit, the bear roars, stands up and turns to walk in the opposite direction.
The Witch Hunt game changes the setting to a mysterious haunted house where players shoot at ghosts appearing in the windows and witches and bats flying across the screen.
In Racoon Hunt, players shoot at racoons climbing trees in an Autumn forest. The objective is to keep the racoons from reaching the top of the trees as they climb faster and faster as the score goes up.

SETUP:
- The first time you run the game, it will say 'AIM GUN AT SQUARE AND FIRE'. Fire at upper left and lower right corner to calibrate your gun. End test mode with F2.
- Select in the dipswitch menu between the games: Hit the Bear, Witch Hunt and Raccoon Hunt
WIP:
- 0.140u1: Derrick Renaud optimized speed of DISCRETE_DAC_R1.
- 15th November 2009: Mr. Do - Triple Hunt is done! This is one of those cases where the artwork REALLY adds to the game. Thanks to: Kiltron for doing all of the cleanup, and also for finding a decent photo of the bear back backdrop. Guru for scans of the Witch Hunt artwork. Aaron Giles for a scan of the bear/racoon backdrop. Andy Welburn for a scan of the Shoot the Bear bezel. Dan at The Arcade Flyer Archive for a hi-res scan of the flyer, to finish up the Raccoon bezel, which was based on the Shoot the Bear bezel.
- 0.130u3: Aaron Giles merged memory maps in Triple Hunt.
- 0.112u4: Derrick Renaud added PORT_CROSSHAIRs to Triple Hunt.
- 0.110u2: Derrick Renaud added support for the Triple Hunt 8-track audio. Added Samples sound (bear_rac and witch.wav).
- 28th July 2006: Guru - Triple Hunt including artwork/bezels (Atari 1977) and other games just arrived in 2 huge boxes. I think most of these are just for fixing issues in MAME (snd/gfx etc). Big thanks to Tingoes.
- 0.106u1: Changed Light gun input to Stick.
- 0.103u1: Derrick Renaud and Stefan Jokisch hooked up sound effects in Triple Hunt.
- 0.103: Stefan Jokisch fixed Triple Hunt and several older Atari games to use RAM mirroring for zero page memory.
- 0.80u2: Derrick Renaud updated Triple Hunt to use Aaron's DISCRETE_ADJUSTMENT changes.
- 0.80: Derrick Renaud added component value discrete sound, but have not figured out Shot and Bear Roar video memory locations. These are needed to make sound effects work.
- 0.61: Stefan Jokisch added Triple Hunt (Atari 1977).
- 2nd May 2002: Stefan Jokisch sent in a driver for Triple Hunt, although it lacks artwork, sound emulation and samples.
