Teeter Torture (prototype)
You control a cannon moving left-right on a teeter-totter. Weights with hooks on them fall down at you and if you don't shoot them they hook on and weigh down one side of your teeter-totter. The weight of your shooter also moves the teeter-totter. A plunger of TNT is attached to either side of the teeter-totter board. If if goes all the way down, kaboom!

NOTE:
- The original ROM images for Teeter Torture (c) 1982 Exidy have been made available for free, non-commercial use. Authorization from H.R. Kaufmann, president of Xidy.
- Teeter Torture is a game that has rather mysterious origins. Only a single cabinet has even been found for it (fortunately it has been making regular appearances at the California Extreme show (http://www.caextreme.org/) for a number of years). For years there was even confusion as to whether it was an Exidy-produced prototype or some bootleg running on the Exidy hardware.
WIP:
- 10th June 2012: 3D ARCADE - New 3D cabinet model for Teeter Torture.
- 0.129: MooglyGuy added savestate support to Teeter Torture.
- 0.125u7: Aaron Giles fixed player movement has slowed from previous MAME.
- 0.112: Aaron Giles added Teeter Torture (prototype) (Exidy 1982). Teeter Torture is a prototype game from Exidy that is very rare. With permission of the current rights holder for the game, Aaron is happy to announce that we have been able to dump the roms and make them publically available for non-commercial use (http://mamedev.org/roms/teetert). Aaron encourage you to try the game out - it really is unique and happens to be one of the better prototype games that never officially made it to the arcade.
PLAY INSTRUCTIONS:
- Balance the Teeter Totter by moving the cannon or catching Weights
- Bonus for Weights caught
- Weights destroy Cannon
- Cannon balls destroy Weights
