UniWar S
You pilot an arrowhead-shaped vessel at the bottom of the screen, facing off against four different types of enemies. Certain enemies drop 'space soldiers' when shot, if these make it to the bottom of the screen, they will try to 'spear' your ship from behind.

UniWar S et M.A.M.E.
0.05 [Nicola Salmoria, Lionel Theunissen]
WIP:
- 0.145u5: Augusto Garcia, Silvio Finotti, Marcello Mancini and David Haywood added clone Galaxy Empire (bootleg?).
- 0.141u4: Changed description of clone 'Sky Raiders' to 'Sky Raider (Uniwars bootleg)'.
- 0.134u2: Team Europe added clone Space Empire (bootleg).
- 3rd October 2009: Smitdogg - Team Europe dumped Space Empire (bootleg of Gingateikoku No Gyakushu / UniWar S).
- 0.124u1: Aaron Giles fixed wrong screen offset in clones Gingateikoku No Gyakushu (bootleg set 1) and (bootleg set 2).
- 0.109u5: Brian Troha added clone Space Battle (bootleg set 1). Changed description of clone 'Space Battle' to 'Space Battle (bootleg set 2)'. Renamed (spacbatt) to (spacbat2).
- 0.76u1: Pierpaolo Prazzoli added clone Sky Raiders (bootleg 1980).
- 21st October 2003: Pierpaolo Prazzoli added Sky Raiders, a bootleg of Uni War S, to the Galaxian driver.
- 0.59: Changed description of clone 'Gingateikoku No Gyakushu (bootleg)' to '(bootleg set 1)' and '(bootleg, set 2)' to '(bootleg set 2)'. Added 'Unused SW 0-3' dipswitch.
- 0.53: Added clone Gingateikoku No Gyakushu (bootleg, set 2).
- 0.37b16: Added clone Gingateikoku No Gyakushu (bootleg).
- 0.35: Changed clone 'Uniwars' to parent 'UniWar S'.
- 0.35RC2: Renamed (japirem) to (gteikoku).
- 0.35b3: Nicola Salmoria added clone Space Battle (bootleg 1980).
- 0.34b1: Added color prom.
- 0.22: Changed description of 'Japanese Irem game' to 'Gingateikoku No Gyakushu'.
- 0.11: Lionel Theunissen dumped the color PROM of his Uniwars board and... it's different from the one provided by Gary Walton. Galaxian boards were widely pirated so it's difficult to determine which one is the "correct" palette. What I did was set the Uniwars driver to use one palette [Nicola Salmoria], and the "Japanese Irem" to use the other. Play the one you prefer.
- 0.10: Thanks to Gary Walton and Simon Walls, we now have 100% accurate colors in Uniwars/Japirem.
- 0.06: Nicola Salmoria added clone Uniwars (Karateco 1980). Star background in Galaxians & co [Nicola Salmoria]. The way I calculate it is probably not correct, anyway it looks reasonable.
- 0.05: Nicola Salmoria and Lionel Theunissen added 'Japanese Irem game' (Irem 1980) (japirem). Game is playable with wrong colors and limited sound. Control: Arrows = Move around and CTRL = Fire. Known issues: Only one sound channel is emulated, and I'm not sure it's correct. No star background. What does dip switch 6 do?
