Bugs:
- [possible] It sounds like as the effects/music in e.g. nightstr plays only on one side. Iron Man (ID 01174)
WIP:
- 0.133u1: Angelo Salese documented lamps/motor usage for Night Striker. Renamed (nghtstrj) to (nightstrj) and (nghtstru) to (nightstru).
- 9th January 2009: Mr. Do - Kiltron did his thing again on Night Striker bezel (sorry Arbee, it had to be done).
- 0.125u9: Kanikani added Night Striker (World) and clone (Japan). Removed unnecessary analog input remapping. Added analog stick adjusting port. Renamed (nightstr) to (nghtstru). Added dipswitches 'Adjust Stick H (VARIABLE REGISTER)' and 'Adjust Stick V (VARIABLE REGISTER)'.
- 0.124u2: Added 4x Volume Filters and 3rd sound channel.
- 0.70u1: Brian Troha fixed Night Striker dips. Added dipswitches 'Cabinet', 'Trigger Turbo' and 'Unused'.
- 0.62: Added dipswitches 'Coinage', 'Price to Continue', 'Bonus Shields' and 'Shields'.
- 0.57: Added 'Shields' dipswitch. Added 4th player input.
- 28th August 2001: David Graves updated the Taito Z driver fixing crashes in Night Striker.
- 0.53: David Graves added Night Striker (US) (Taito 1989).
- 0.37b11: David Graves added Night Striker (US) (Testdriver). Known issues: No road. Control stick unsatisfactory: there is a "dead patch" around stick center (in case the centering of the arcade stick wasn't very good?) so your movement gets very sluggish there. Use a lookup table to eliminate dead patch? Strange page in test mode which lets you alter all sorts of settings that may relate to some sort of sit-in cockpit version of game? CPUA int4 at $11c0 calls sub which writes to control stick area requesting a/d conversion. When done this hardware causes int6 ($106xx) which reads out the value from the hardware and also requests another a/d conversion, causing another int6... maybe 4 per frame to get all the necessary values. Bshark stick works in a similar way.
