WIP:
- 0.146u5: Angelo Salese and David Haywood fixed Sky Destroyer - Game now playable. Added preliminary colour cycling effect [David Haywood]. Fixed remaining input issues. More protection sim fixes (machine\tait8741.c + drivers\cyclemb.c). State-ized the thing (READ8_MEMBER( cyclemb_state::skydest_i8741_0_r )). Fixed a color bug with tilemap [Angelo Salese]. Added rom notes [hap]. Changed Z80 CPU1 clock speed to 6MHz and Z80 CPU2 to 3MHz. Replaced AY-3-8910A sound with YM2203 (1.5Mhz). Added 2nd Player. Added dipswitches 'SYSTEM', 2x 'P1_0' and 2x 'P1_1'.
- 0.146u4: Added 'Sky Destroyer (Japan)' (Taito Corporation 1985). Bare minimum to get game to boot, will work on the tilemap issues later on (2012-07-27). Some improvements, some gfxs are missing (2012-07-28). As Phil noted, program rom banking actually contains the missing gfxs (2012-07-29). Fixed sprite offsets. When in doubt with colors, just use ROMREGION_INVERT. Last sprite fixes (2012-07-30). Basic inputs hooked up. Haze fixed the tilemap, me fixed a sprite issue. More protection work [Angelo Salese].
- 19th July 2012: Smitdogg - Two more insanely rare games popped up that we need help with. One is Sky Destroyer by Taito. My friend has the board so we could just get rom dumps but the MCU needs to be decapped so it needs to be bought and decapped and then we will try to program a replacement for the MCU. With shipping it will cost at least $300. LN talked to the doc recently and he is going to try to do some more arcade work for us when he is done with his current job work. That doesn't mean it will happen but there is hope. In the mean time the MCU could probably be simulated with an unknown degree of accuracy.
