WIP:
- 0.136u4: Fabio Priuli added driver_data struct and save states to the Mania Challenge driver.
- 0.131u1: Angelo Salese merged memory maps in the Mania Challenge driver.
- 0.124u2: Fabio Priuli added tags and locations to DIPs for Mania Challenge.
- 0.122u6: Changed M68705 CPU3 clock speed to 3MHz.
- 0.122u4: David Haywood fixed garbage graphics (maniach37b11gre).
- 15th July 2007: Mr. Do - We have a Mania Challenge bezel courtesy of the BYOAC/CAG artwork.
- 0.115: Aaron Giles updated 68705 clocks to take into account the internal divide by 4. Added constant so that it is clear why this is being done. Changed M68705 CPU4 clock speed to 750000 Hz.
- 0.114u1: Added the missing plds ($200, 400 - pal16r4a.117, pal16r4a.118).
- 0.106u12: MASH added plds ($0, 100 - pal10l8.51 and pal10l8.56) to Mania Challenge.
- 0.103u2: Roberto Fresca fixed Mania Challenge dipswitches. Added dipswitches 'Tournament Time' and 4x 'Unused'.
- 0.36RC1: Changed M6809 CPU2 clock speed to 1.5MHz.
- 0.36b3: Nicola Salmoria emulated the 68705 protection in Mania Challenge. Added M68705 (500000 Hz) and the 8k MCU rom.
- 13th August 1999: Nicola Salmoria added a 68705 image to Mania Challenge, which is now working!
- 0.35b1: Replaced M6502 CPU2 with M6809 and added YM-3526 and DAC sound.
- 0.34b7: Nicola Salmoria added Mania Challenge (set 2). Changed parent description to 'Mania Challenge (set 1)'. Added sound roms and color proms ($0, 20, 40, 60) to (set 1).
- 0.31: Brad Oliver added Mania Challenge (Technos 1986), preliminary. Mania Challenge needs the audio CPU working. However, it's not clear how it's set up. There is some extra 6502 code, but it appears to be for the main CPU. I also understood that it was somehow using a 6809 for the audio CPU but I can find no program ROMs that are 6809 code. Known issues: Mania Challenge runs on slightly different hardware and doesn't work yet.
