Guitar Freaks 8th Mix (G*C08 VER. JAA)
GuitarFreaks is a game where colored notes travel up the screen which correspond with three colored buttons on a guitar controller. The player must press the relevant buttons on the controller and move the 'pluck' when the notes reach the top of the screen in order to fill in missing guitar parts from a song.

* Playstyle menu : Press start button with holding B after inserted a credit

- 0.141u3: smf added 'Guitar Freaks 8th Mix power-up ver. (G*C08 VER. JBA)' (Konami 2002) and clone 'Guitar Freaks 8th Mix (G*C08 VER. JAA)'.
- 4th July 2009: smf - Rotten to the core: It's been a while since I've emulated a game with the new system 573 protection, so it took me a little longer to get back into it. Unlike the digital DDR games Guitar Freaks 8th Mix is playable. There are a few more in the pipeline, but they'll have to wait a little while. This had problems booting, because of some known issues with the playstation emulation. I need to verify the changes are correct, but it should help with some other games that I've had problems with in the past.
