WIP:
- 0.146u4: Changed OKI6295 clock speed to 1056000 Hz.
- 0.146u3: Changed description to 'Densha de GO! (Ver 2.2 J)' and clone to 'Densha de GO! EX (Ver 2.4 J)'. Improved Densha de GO! controls. Added simple artwork for Densha de GO! games. Hooked up OKI6295 [hap]. Added 3rd sound channel with subwoofer speaker. Added 2nd coin slot. Fixed rom names.
- 0.146u1: hap fixed Densha de GO! / 2 crash after initial checks.
- 0.143u4: Angelo Salese and R. Belmont fixed Densha de GO! - Game now playable. Various fixes to the Taito JC system [Angelo Salese]: Implemented preliminary object RAM bankswitch, fixes Densha de Go garbage video objects if you coin up during attract mode. Improved inputs in Densha de Go, promoted game to working state. Faked the Mascon via an analog port, that fixes a bunch of issues with undefined input state for Densha de Go 1 and 2. Fixed credit display in Densha de Go. O. Galibert provided odometer and break table conversion for Densha de Go. Added OKI6295 (1MHz) sound. Changed description to 'Densha de GO!' and clone to 'Densha de GO! EX'. Renamed (dendeg) to (dendego) and (dendegx) to (dendegox).
- 24th August 2011: Angelo Salese - Did a review of the Taito JC system driver in the last couple of days. It apparently got recently improved by some '040 fixes by Arbee, so I've given a quick look of it, fixed inputs in all games in the driver, fixed a crash for Densya de Go 2, made various gfx fixes (in particular I've added a Gouraud Shading triangle drawing mode, used by Landing Gear for some elements). This makes Densya de Go, Densya de Go 2 and Landing Gear to be working, and improves Dangerous Curves that now enters into gameplay but doesn't show any 3d due of a DSP bug.
- 0.124u4: Changed parent description to 'Densya De Go (Japan)' and clone to 'Densya De Go Ex (Japan)'.
- 0.111u2: Added Pedal.
- 24th June 2006: Ville Linde - The problem was indeed in the controller emulation. Densya De GO! now works much better.
- 22nd June 2006: Ville Linde - I have made some major improvements to the Taito JC System driver. First I improved and fixed bugs in the M68040 FPU. Then I found the missing vertical blank interrupt, after which things really started to work. After that, I needed to figure out how the 2D graphics works. Turns out the 2D graphics chip is just a basic object processor, not too different from the one in Konami's Firebeat hardware. Landing Gear and Side by Side 2 already run through their attract modes. Densya De GO! also shows some graphics, but hangs pretty soon. Apparently it needs a bit more of the train controller emulated. Update: R. Belmont pointed out that the red and green color components were swapped. I've updated the screenshots with that fixed.
- 0.105u1: Added TMS32051 (50MHz) CPU4. Fixed gfx1/2 and user3 rom loading. Changed palettesize to 65536 colors.
- 0.97u5: Ville Linde added very basic 68040 support to the 68000 core. Replaced 68020 with 68040. Added MC68HC11 (4MHz) MCU. Changed visible area to 512x384.
- 0.81u4: Added 'Densya De Go' (Taito 1997) and clone 'Densya De Go Ex'.
- 15th January 2004: Guru - Densya de Go EX (Taito 1997, System JC hardware) arrived from Japan.
