Les clones de Solar Fox
Game Play
In Solar Fox, it is your job to pilot a starship through a series of solar cell matrixes, which are basically formations of small, colorful squares. While capturing the cells you must dodge waves of fireballs that are being hurled by Sentinels, whose job it is to guard the precious resources. These Sentinels move continuously along the perimeter of each cell formation. When you clear an entire field of squares (by flying through each square), you go on to the next level.
The starship you pilot (which can move horizontally and vertically) moves at a predetermined cruise speed, either fast or slow, depending on which difficulty level you have chosen. If you are cruising fast, you can slow down by pushing the fire button. If you are cruising slowly, you can speed up by pushing the fire button. The faster you clear a matrix, the more points you receive.
There are 26 different solar cell matrixes, six of which are challenge racks that appear after every fifth matrix. The challenge racks are bereft of fireballs, but you can only score points on these levels if you clear the entire field before the time runs out.
