Tips on Space Dungeon

* A Boring Score-grabbing Cheat : Lock yourself in a room by closing all the doors. The thief will appear (To close a door, go through it then back immediately - it may take more than once). Warning : this is a sure, but very slow, way to build points.

SETUP and TEST MODE:
- The first time you run the game, it will ask the language. You can use F1 to proceed through all the configuration screens, or just reset (F3).
- Keep F2 pressed to enter test mode, then F1 to advance to the next test.
- There are no dipswitches, press F1 to enter the service mode, then F1=Next screen, F2=Next line, F5=Up and F6=Down.
- To change the language afterwards, delete the SDUNGEON.NV file from the NVRAM-directory and re-run the program.

Bugs:
- If you destroy a 'Laser Base' in Space Dungeon the floor is full of blue pixels, but if you went into another room the pixels didn't disappear (see screenshots). This happend also in earlier MAME versions. MASH (ID 01110)

WIP:
- 0.122u6: Changed M68705 CPU4 clock speed to 4MHz.
- 19th August 2007: Mr. Do - While browsing more through the BYOAC/CAG artwork, I noticed the instrution card for Space Dungeon, so that game is complete now.
- 0.115u2: Changed VSync to 76.293945Hz.
- 24th December 2006: Mr. Do - hanks to the loan by Vintage Arcade Superstore and vectorization by Zorg, we have Space Dungeon bezel.
- 0.91u1: Derrick Renaud added external volume control and stereo support to the Qix driver. This hardware is capable of independant L/R volume control, but only sdungeon uses it for a stereo effect. Other games just use it for fixed L/R volume control.
- 0.37b16: Changed M6802 CPU3 clock speed to 921600 Hz, M68705 MCU to 1MHz and palettesize to 1024 colors.
- 0.35b6: Replaced M6803 CPU3 with M6802 and M6805 CPU4 with M68705.
- 0.35b3: Nicola Salmoria properly emulated the 68705 protection in Space Dungeon. Added M6805 (2MHz) CPU4 and 2nd player input.
- 0.34b1: Added 68705 MCU rom sd101.
- 0.33RC1: Known issues: At game over, you are sent back to service mode.
- 0.33b3: Known issues: The test mode works only the first time you run the game. To make it work again you have to delete SDUNGEON.HI.
- 0.33b2: Dan Boris added Space Dungeon (Taito 1981). Known issues: At game over, you are sent back to service mode. Space Dungeon and Electric Yo-Yo have an additiona "Coin Processor Board" with a 68705 on it. The lack of its emulation is responsible for the strange behaviour of Space Dungeon (6 cresits at reset, reset at game over) and probably for Yo-Yo not working as well.
- 3rd May 1998: Dumped Space Dungeon.
